Well, today I just found out:<br />The organic chemistry TAs (including me) sat down to correct the first organic chemistry exam of the semester... It took us about 3 hours to correct about 60 exams, and what an experience it was.. we laughed so much. Now I don't want to sound cruel, but students will come up with all kinds of answers that make no sense at all, and ones that'll make you laugh out loud. Indeed students will try to BS their way out of a question, and those are the best to read.. So I've started teaching a bunch of organic chem students. So the question that I'm facing now is how much do I enjoy this stuff, and can I someday actually be a full time professor?<br />Being a teacher requires a measure of patience, which I'm not sure I have in me. Afterall, even the best class in the world will have idiots in it, a class clown, or just some slackers unwilling to do the work... in fact I think I've spotted at least one in my class...<br />Who knows.. I haven't heard her music for a while, but man is it classy. It also has one effect that no other arabic music has (at least on me). It makes me miss Amman and the people there.<br />I never agreed with people when they said the oldies like Fairuz were better than any of the modern arabic music.
